Forest Frolics are kid-friendly walks for moms. We encourage all mommas to join even if you are expecting, it's a great opportunity to start building your "village"! 

This week's guest speaker is Araya Montero - LM, CPM, BSM from Two Hearted Midwifery.

Araya grew up in the eastern Upper Peninsula on the shores of Lake Superior.  Growing up in a large extended family, where someone was always pregnant or nursing, sparked a deep curiosity around the childbearing years. This path of inquiry led Araya into work as an organic farmer. Through seasons of working with the land from seeds to harvest, knowing the moons cycles, and beginning the journey into herbalism, her path to home birth midwifery became clear.

The Boardman Lake Loop is paved and very stroller-friendly, you are welcome to wear your baby and let your toddlers frolic. Please bring water and snacks, the whole group will take breaks if anyone needs to feed, change, or rest.

Dress for the weather, if it's raining we will play in the rain! The event will be canceled if it's storming for safety reasons.
