Forest Frolics are kid-friendly walks for moms. We encourage all mommas to join even if you are expecting, it's a great opportunity to start building your "village"!
This week's guest speaker is Kate Schumacher, MS, OTR/L from PeaceAble Pelvis.
Kate is an occupational therapist, pelvic health specialist, a mom, a dog lover, and an avid cyclist who lives for Northern Michigan summers. She is passionate about helping clients prepare for or recover from childbirth, take control over “leaks down there”, manage pelvic pain, or tackle a host of other conditions we rarely discuss with others. Using a holistic approach, She helps her clients to regain confidence in their bodies and return to the activities they love.
The Brown Bridge Quiet area trail is a packed dirt path with some rolling hills and sandy spots. Strollers with larger wheels should do fine, you are welcome to wear your baby and let your toddlers frolic. Please bring water and snacks, the whole group will take breaks if anyone needs to feed, change, or rest.
Dress for the weather, if it's raining we will play in the rain! The event will be canceled if it's storming for safety reasons.
We meet at The Brown Bridge Quiet Area Canoe Launch - https://maps.app.goo.gl/ex8cYyjRVdbBMpKi6
